Katarina Witt was born the third of December 1965 in Staaken, East Germany. She is always looking for exciting opportunities and new opportunities to take on new challenges. Through this process she's gained expertise in a myriad of areas which include production, figure skating, performance, presentation, and writing. Following the 1988 World Championships Katarina Witt ends her successful professional career at present. In the next three years she will be co-headlining her debut as a professional in Canada as well as the United States together with World Champion Brian Boitano. The show "Witt and Boitano Skating" has been so popular that Madison Square Garden in New York is sold out with the figure skating event at the very first time in 10 years. 1993-1994, she returns to the amateur sport and into the competitive limelight to participate in her third appearance as a participant at the Olympic Games in Lillehammer in 1994. Then she travels across the US as well as Canada as the star of the ice skating show "Stars on Ice" and "Champions in Ice" for the past 10 years. She is also a participant in numerous international professional events. With her own production company, WITHWITT has been behind several internationally ice-show productions she produces, develops and headlines. It sets high standards in the skating production market producing live events such as "Divas on Ice", "Katarina & Friends", "Enjoy the Stars" as well as "Winter The Magic" for US and German TV.
