Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk was a small actress in commercials. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she met in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They got engaged in 2009, and then married at a civil ceremony that took place in December. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's change of religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode premiered on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social media.
